Class Descriptions

The Basic Basically Free Class Receive $5 Gift Certificate when you attend the class This class is for the beginner scrapbooker. You will learn about adhesives, cutting tools, cropping and more. Bring 6-10 pictures. Cost: $5

Not Your Ordinary Book Club 6-7 pm The Pine Cone Press Club Buy a theme idea book each month and receive a free kit with your membership. Monthly Meeting included in membership & discount at meeting. Meeting last friday of the month. Cost:: $60 for 6 months membership

Girl Scout Patch Class After taking this class and fulfilling the requirements you can earn the Girl Scout Patch. Each girl receives an album, basic supplies and instruction. Bring a lot of pictures. Cost: $20

Girl Scrapbookin Crop & Class This is for any girl that wants to learn the basics and some advanved techniques. After taking this class and fulfilling the requirements you can earn the Girl Scout Patch. Each girls receives an album, basic supplies instruction, door prizes and pizza for lunch. Total Cost: $25 Bring a lot of pictures.

Flip-Fold Photo Album Class. It stores and displays between 2 and 8 pictures, and it makes a great gift for friends, teachers and family. Cost: $5

Scrapbook Color Theme Camp This camp will provide instruction on the following techniques: use of color in layouts, selection of color(s) for layouts, application of color (chalk, chalk inks, paint, watermark and pigment inks), distressing, and the addition of color using embellishments (eyelets, brads, ribbon, flowers). At the end of each daily session, each student would complete a card or scrapbook page using the technique of the day. Cost: $20

Scrapbook Technique Camp This camp will provide instruction on the following techniques: dry, heat and paste embossing, cutting/tearing/sewing, quilling, paper piecing, using vellum, and ideas for storage of photos and supplies. At the end of each daily session, each student would complete a card or scrapbook page using the technique of the day Cost: $20

Crop Night 7-11pm Bring all your materials and work on your scrapbook with other croppers. We just relax, laugh, talk and work on our scrapbooks. When you need that one sticker or sheet of paper it is right around the corner so you can complete that special lay-out. Individuals or groups are welcome. Nightly Give-Away. Cost: $5

Basic stamping Class. Learn the basics about types of inks, care of stamps, and stamping techniques with pads as well as markers. Cost: $5

Adult Art Class This is a sequential art program using several mediums over a year long course. Call the store and leave your name and phone number if you are interested in the next series of classes. Cost: $60 per month

Level 1 Drawing Camps Introduction to Drawing - Studies in drawing what you "see" June 12th - 16th Ages 6 - 8 9:00- 11:00 Ages: 9 - 12 1:00 - 3:00 Ages: 13- adult 4:00 - 6:00 Cost: $95

Level 2 (A) Drawing Camps - Must have completed Level 1 Intermediate Drawing - Study in Portraiture using conte and pastels July 17th - 20th - each class meets for 2 hours Ages 6-8 9:00 - 11:00 Ages: 9- 12 1:00 - 3:00 Ages:13 - adult 4:00- 6:00 Cost:$95

Level 2 (B) Drawing Camps- Must have completed Level 1,and 2A Study in drawing animals and people proportionally. August 7th - 10th- each class meets for 2 hours Ages - 6-8 9:00 - 11:00 Ages: 9 - 12 1:00 - 3:00 Ages: 13 to adult 4:00 - 3:00 Cost: $95

Level 3 Drawing Camps - Must have completed Level 1 and Level 2 For the advanced student - Study in drawing from 3 dimensional objects using graphite, pencil and charcoal. July 24th - 28th- Ages 9-12 9:00 - 11:00 Ages: 13 to adult 1:00 - 3:00 Cost:$95

Out of the Door By Four Seminar with Amy Haynes Out the Door by Four: 5 Keys to Maximize Teachers'' Time The participants earn 7 hours of staff development credit. I have observed that teachers need time to implement workshop ideas for any real change to occur. The workshop will be divided into 3.5 hours in person at the store. The other 3.5 hours the participants can earn by participating in the implementation assignments and posting feedback, questions, etc. on the message board. This will allow you to receive individual consultation from Amy Haynes and other educators as they beginning implementing the strategies taught in the course. Cost $95

Class Policies:

Sign-up: Please pre-pay or hold your place with a credit card a min. 24 hours before class or crop.

Class Materials: For all classes other than Basic you will need to bring (Basic Kit) your own personnel cutter, acid-free adhesives, scissors, journaling pen, pencil, and a ruler. Not sure which one to buy??? Attend our Basic Basically Free for direction on the best products for what you want to do.

Rescheduling: Please notify us within 24 hrs. of class date. Your fee may be moved to another class or store credit.

Children: In consideration for others, children may not be brought to class. Children over the age of 9 may attend as a paying patron.

Discount: Receive 10% off all purchases when you attend one of our Friday night crops or Advanced Technique class.
